Yuma Unveils ‘Yuma Asset Management,’ Creating a New Gateway to the Decentralized AI Sector for Institutional and Accredited Investors

 — Yuma, a DCG subsidiary dedicated to accelerating decentralized intelligence through the Bittensor network, today announced the expansion of its executive team with the appointments of Greg Schvey as Chief Operating Officer and Jeff Schvey as Chief Technology Officer. They are beginning their roles at a critical moment as Yuma scales its validator, mining, and subnet accelerator operations and prepares for the launch of an asset management business.

Greg and Jeff, who began their careers in investment banking and missile defense, respectively, bring more than a decade of experience developing institutional-grade infrastructure that has shaped the crypto industry. Their website, The Genesis Block, was a leading voice in Bitcoin beginning in 2012. In 2013, they co-founded TradeBlock, the first institutional crypto portfolio management and data services platform, which was later acquired by DCG. Their most recent company, Axoni, built critical infrastructure for traditional financial markets, processing data for trillions of dollars of transactions annually, with their largest business unit acquired by the London Stock Exchange Group in 2024. DCG was an early investor in both ventures.
